In an exclusive interview, Richie Faulkner of Judas Priest shares insights into the band's future, revealing plans for continued touring and the possibility of new music. Here's what's next!
In a recent interview with George Dionne from KNAC.COM, Judas Priest guitarist Richie Faulkner spoke about the band's future plans, touching on both touring and new music. When asked whether the band would continue touring in 2025 or focus on studio work, Faulkner said, "I think a bit of both, really. These tours tend to grow and evolve over time. The more we play, the more offers we get from different regions, so I’m sure there will be more touring."
Faulkner also hinted at ongoing creativity within the band, stating, "Ideas never stop coming; there’s always something new being thought up. If we can, we might gather some of these ideas and see where we can go with them. Another record? We’re always coming up with new ideas — riffs, melodies, lyrics... We’re creative people, and that’s bound to happen. So hopefully, if we get some time early next year, we can pool these ideas and see what we’ve got and then hopefully hit the road again somewhere else."
Judas Priest recently finished the second leg of their "Invincible Shield" tour, with Sabaton as a special guest. The band has also announced a 2025 summer European tour, which will start in Oslo, Norway, on June 14 and wrap up in Oberhausen, Germany, on July 20.
